Jacob I. Weddle

     Jacob I. Weddle was born and raised in Frederick County, Maryland. He earned his B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy summa cum laude from the University of Maryland at College Park. Jake earned his J.D. cum laude from The University of Baltimore School of Law.

     Jake began working at Gordon & Simmons as a law clerk, and continued as an associate after becoming licensed to practice in Maryland. Jake represents individual and corporate clients in a variety of matters in state and federal courts at both the trial court and appellate court levels. Jake has tried several cases in the District and Circuit Courts of Maryland, and was the second chair on a two-week jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. For the cases that do not make it to trial, Jake has negotiated favorable settlements for his clients on a variety of subject matters.

     Away from the office, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife and son. Jake is also an avid sportsman enjoying baseball, golf and skiing.
