Jodi Lynn was born on October 9, 1982. She graduated cum laude from McDaniel College where she majored in Physics. After college, Jodi Lynn attended Regent University in Virginia. While at Regent, she was the Symposium Editor of the Law Review and Chair of the Trial Advocacy Board. Additionally while in law school, Jodi Lynn was active in her school’s trial advocacy program, competing in several competitions including a national competition at John Marshall School of Law. In May, 2008, Jodi Lynn graduated cum laude from Regent and was awarded the 2008 Trial Advocacy Award by the Virginia Trial Lawyer’s Association.
In February, 2008, the Federal Lawyer published Do Two Wrongs Forfeit A Constitutional Right? Revising A Hearsay Rule to Protect the Right to Confrontation, an article written by Jodi Lynn about the federal forfeiture by wrongdoing hearsay exception.
Before joining Gordon & Simmons, Jodi Lynn interned for The Honorable Walter D. Kelley of the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Virginia. She then clerked for The Honorable Ronald A. Silkworth of the Anne Arundel Circuit Court.
Currently, Jodi Lynn is completing her LL.M. in Trial Advocacy at Temple University. She will complete the degree in May, 2010.
Jodi Lynn enjoys spending time with family and friends and is active in her church. When time allows, Jodi Lynn loves to travel to new places.
