Roger
Simmons is working on cases for national news journalists and producers
against and for several organizations, including CNN, NBC, Gannett.
He is counsel in a multimillion dollar international commercial dispute arising
from the aborted sale of a mega-yacht being built in Germany in a Maryland Federal Court.
He was trial counsel in a suit brought
against an insurance client by the Department of Labor and in a Maryland
Insurance licensing proceeding while simultaneously defending cases
in Federal Courts in Maryland and Ohio for the same client. He is
counsel for a construction company in Maryland that is involved in
a major case pending in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He is presently
counsel for former undisputed world heavyweight champion, Riddick
Bowe, 1st in a dispute with a home builder who is said to have taken
advantage of Mr. Bowe. He is lead counsel in a multimillion dollar acquisition of a major car rental company. He regularly does pro bono work. Roger aids
and consults with each of the attorneys in the firm about all of
their cases.

Roger
has been counsel in the Department of Labor, Maryland Insurance and related cases involving a Maryland insurance company. He has won the Crofton case before numerous appellate panels. Each time he has won attorneys' fees for his client against the other side as well as damages. He represented a local church in a proceeding involving a an inheritance on a pro bono basis, and is also pursuing several legal malpractice cases. (In the recent past, he was instrumental in recovering many millions of dollars in a major legal malpractice case against a major Washington, D.C. law firm.) Roger has a variety of other cases underway.
