Susan Gelber Eisner
Susan Gelber Eisner was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her B.S. in Government and Politics at the University of Maryland at College Park, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude in 1986. Susan earned her J.D. with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1989.
Susan began her career at Frank, Bernstein, Conaway & Goldman and joined Gordon & Simmons in 1992, concentrating on complex commercial and lender liability litigation.
In 1996, Susan retired from full time private practice to devote her energy and time to her young children. In 1998, she shifted her focus to corporate law, establishing an environmental consulting firm with her geologist husband, and serving as General Counsel to the company for the past 15 years. Susan was delighted to return to Gordon & Simmons as Of Counsel in 2013.
Away from the office, Susan enjoys spending time with her husband and teenage daughter and son. She is a passionate cook and loves entertaining friends and family. She also enjoys travel around the country and beyond. In her community, Susan remains active in a variety of charitable civic and religious projects, causes and outreach efforts.
